We calf 3 times a year, 25 days at a time and we produced 9,800 litres and 778 milk solids a cow last season. We really like to look after our cows here, and feeding them well is top priority. We have Inshed feeding and a Feedpad. We are looking for someone with previous farming experience, someone who has good stockmanship and is keen to learn and enjoy how we farm here. There is also plenty of variety here from tractor driving, fencing, milking, all youngstock on farm and learning high input system and feeding cows. We have a 2 bedroom house available and offer good pay and time off. We also show cows and are very much into our breeding. We make our own silage, hay and maize on farm and we also have all youngstock on farm as well as some beef stock. Start date negotiable.
