· Preparing regular financial, staffing, production and operational information and reports for the Company Director.
· Managing day-to-day accounts administration, including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, reconciliations and preparation of information for the company's accountant.
· Coordinating payroll information, employee timesheets, leave records and other wage and employment-related administration.
· Maintaining accurate employee records, employment documentation and personnel files.
· Coordinating staff rosters, leave records, onboarding, training records and other workforce administration.
· Maintaining health and safety documentation, registers, incident records and associated compliance documentation.
· Maintaining farm production, livestock and business records using relevant farm management and industry systems, including MINDA, Protrack and Farm Source.
· Coordinating supplier and contractor administration, purchasing, accounts and business correspondence.
· Assisting the Director with budgeting, expenditure monitoring and preparation of financial and commercial information.
· Preparing reports and documentation for management meetings, attending meetings as required and maintaining accurate records of decisions and follow-up actions.
· Maintaining company policies, procedures, filing systems and other business records.
· Coordinating administrative information and documentation between the company's two farm locations.
· Acting as a key administrative point of contact between the Company Director, farm employees, suppliers, contractors, accountants and other professional advisers.
· Communicating employment, administrative and operational information to farm employees and assisting with day-to-day staff enquiries.
About you;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Management or a closely related discipline.
· Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to independently manage competing priorities.
· Sound financial and accounts administration skills.
· Good computer skills and the ability to confidently use accounting, payroll, Microsoft Office and other business administration systems.
· The ability to maintain accurate business, financial and employment records.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality.
· The ability to communicate effectively with employees, management and external service providers.
