We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Farm Manager to lead a team of three staff members. This role requires someone with strong time management skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine passion for livestock and farming operations. The successful candidate will be someone who is driven, energetic, and interested in progressing their career. Our operation is an 800-cow autumn calving farm, equipped with a herd home, mixer wagon, and a 60-bail rotary shed with ACRs and in-shed drafting technology. We operate a 6-on, 2-off roster for six months of the year, and a 9-on, 3-off roster for the remaining six months. Key requirements for this role include: - Strong leadership and team management skills - Competence with farm machinery - Good computer literacy, including the ability to complete fortnightly reports - Experience using Herd Manager (in-shed drafting system) or similar technology You will work closely with the farm owner, who will provide support through regular farm walks and assist with feed budgeting. We are looking for a Unit Manager to join our team on a 840 cow farm, 54 bail Rotary, ACR, in shed feeding and Allflex Cow collars. You will need to be confident in driving a tractor with a silage wagon and mower, have at least 5 years experience, understand pasture management, take pride in your work and have good animal health practices. This role will be directly working with the Sharemilker, with opportunities to progress in the future to full management for the right person. There is an opportunity for a partner to calf rear and relief milk during the season. We offer a 7 on 2 off Roster, Warm 3 bedroom home, a great team environment to work with and competitive salary.
