We are seeking an experienced farm manager to join our team. The farm is local to Gore. The farm milks 800 cows through a rotary shed, we run a 5 on 2 off roster. 3 other full timers on farm plus seasonal calf rearer. We are looking for someone that is motivated, reliable, good communication and can be a good role model to the team. Previous farm management experience a must. The role will include making pasture management decisions, management of the cowshed, managing the other staffs day to day, delegating jobs etc working with farm supervisor. Professional development encouraged. Accommodation is a warm 4 bedroom home, fire, heat pump, double glazing. Salary will depend on experience happy to negotiate. A new position has become available for a keen individual to join a Filipino team in all day to day aspects of dairy farming. **About the Role:** We are looking for a motivated and reliable Farm assistant to join our 220ha dairy farm in Whataroa, milking 400 cows through a 25-a-side herringbone shed. The farm uses halter collars and a variable milking regime. Milking through a 50bail rotary with inShed feed and ACR'S. Having a partner keen to do Calf rearing and relief milking would be an advantage. Applicant must have a minimum of two years NZ dairy experience and hold a NZ Drivers license as travel to nearby runoff over winter is essential.
