Erindale Farms 2023 Limited is operating a multi farm business. James and Aleisha own a 300 cow farm and sharemilk another 300 cow farm 3km up the road. The farms are run separately but at times we work together and share equipment. The current vacancy is on our Home Farm which is 300 cows on 107ha, located 10 mins to Morrinsville with a brand new 30 a side cowshed and tidy housing. We run a simple pasture based system and rear 70 replacement calves on farm until 1st May. Our goal is to be leading farmers so we all work hard and achieve high standards. With support, you will be responsible for managing the daily milking routine, feed budgeting, picking paddocks and other daily operations including; Milking: Sole charge efficient and hygienic milking routine Stock: Safe handling & treatment of stock, reporting health & welfare safety issues, use & maintain vehicles & machinery, Control weeds, carry out farmwalks, pick paddocks, set break fences, feed out grass silage with tractor & wagon, effluent and water management, be part of the Farm Health & Safety culture. We are looking for a enthusiastic person that has been in the dairy industry for at least 1 season for The Kapenga M Trust KMS dairy farm. The farm is situated 20 mins south of Rotorua. It is a rolling to steep farm so ideally you will have had experience driving bikes and tractors on this kind of terrain. We are looking for a dependable Dairy Farm Assistant to join our Taranaki-based operation, located just 10 minutes from Inglewood. The role begins in June or July 2026 (start date flexible to suit the successful applicant). Our farm milks approximately 320 cows through a 40‑aside herringbone shed with in‑shed feeding. You’ll work alongside the farm owner and support the day‑to‑day running of the farm. Dairy Farm Assistant required. The position involves supporting the Farm Managers in achieving the farm’s production and profit goals through assisting with the day-to-day operation of the farm, and to follow good animal health and welfare, and environmental practices. Previous experience on a dairy farm, driving two wheelers and tractors would be an advantage but is not essential. All training can be provided and for specific farm operational procedures. Looking for someone to join our team! 50 Bail Rotary, milking 950 cows. Working in a team environment with 3 different shifts: Early, mid, and late. Jobs include: Milking cows once or twice a day depending on shift, shifting irrigation, fences, stock, and helping with other general farm jobs. Roster is 9 days on, 3 days off.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid ambitions who is ready to step up and continue progressing in the dairy industry. We will be first-season owners on this farm following a recent purchase and are building a strong, positive team culture from the ground up. This is not a management role, but a role designed to help someone progress into a 2IC position with some responsibilities.
