Casual relief milker that will be offered flexible working days on a rotating two-week roster. Experience milking in a cow shed is required, although supervision and training can be provided if experience is at a level entry stage. Milking is in a newly built rotary shed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a team orientated, fit and enthusiastic person to join our successful team as a live in relief milker. There will be opportunities throughout the season to do some other farm duties. Our 250ha dairy farm is located just 7 minutes from Matamata and we are milking 920 cows through a 60 bale rotary. We run a high producing system 2-3 dairy farm. You are required to assist in the day to day milking, hosing out and some animal health. We are looking for someone who has a positive can-do working attitude and is a reliable, honest and hard-working person. A high standard of cleanliness for the shed and housing is essential. Mays Milking is seeking an experienced and reliable casual relief milker. Work will be offered on an as-needed basis, covering a range of dairy farms.
