A herd owning sharemilking position available on a coastal property located 10 km from Hawera. 30 aside herringbone cowshed with good range of support buildings. Well laid out flat to rolling farm with high soil fertility. Also the day to day running of a 40 ha support block (10 km from dairy farm) for young stock grazing and growing of maize silage (9ha). Pasture silage and maize silage harvested from runoff and a secondary 4 ha block ensures a good supply of supplements for summer / autumn. Heifers grazed at runoff till mid June. The successful applicant needs to have a passion and drive to succeed in the dairy Industry, be financially able to purchase a herd and machinery needed also the desire to work with the objectives and goals of the farm owners.
