We are seeking an experienced farm manager to join our team. The farm is local to Gore. The farm milks 800 cows through a rotary shed, we run a 5 on 2 off roster. 3 other full timers on farm plus seasonal calf rearer. We are looking for someone that is motivated, reliable, good communication and can be a good role model to the team. Previous farm management experience a must. The role will include making pasture management decisions, management of the cowshed, managing the other staffs day to day, delegating jobs etc working with farm supervisor. Professional development encouraged. Accommodation is a warm 4 bedroom home, fire, heat pump, double glazing. Salary will depend on experience happy to negotiate. We’re looking for an experienced Farm Manager with at least 3+ years of ideally New Zealand dairy experience to lead a 850 cow farm in the Morrinsville area. Brightview Farms are on the lookout for a Block Manager for our beef and Dairy support blocks. This role will be directly working with the Sharemilker, with opportunities to progress in the future to full management for the right person.
