About the farm: - 1250 jersey cows - 54 bail rotary, in shed feeding and automatic cup removers - Irrigation through pivots and guns - Accommodation supplied on farm is either a 3 bedroom home or a 4 bedroom home. The attributes ideally required for this position: - 4 years dairy farming experience in NZ - Be competent in the cowshed - Be able to identify and treat animal health issues - Competent using a tractor and riding motorbikes - Have top pasture allocation experience. - Work well in a team and be able to lead the team - Physically able to carry out the job - Have the desire to succeed in the industry - Most importantly the successful applicant must be honest, reliable, have good communication skills and be motivated.
