10min up SH5 from Ngongotaha we have our 300ha, 250ha effective easy rolling, lake view dairy farm. A system 3 farm with a feedpad used for maize and PK30. 55 ASHB with cup removers, protrack drafting, walk over teatspray and Datamars collars used. Youngstock are grazed off farm. We are active farm owners that live on this property with a sharemilking position 10mim away, plus 3 runoff blocks. Management traits we are looking for: - Pasture management/feeding - Communication - Able to plan out daily activities/duties - Record keeping - Tidiness Our current farm manager is moving on after 7 years with us. There is also a second position on farm that will become available so please advise if there is a partner or family member is available to be employed also. This is not a condition of the job, we have housing for the other position. The schedule may vary but generally work hours are between 4am and go through 5pm with meal and rest breaks.
